Location: George Wyth Lake Waterloo, IA
Date: June 12th-16th 2013
Events:
Qualifier: Consists of a 70m straight line sprint and though a manuverability course. The main objective is to determine the eligibility of the team to participate in the sprint and endurance races.
Solar Slalom: Uses the first two marks from the maneuverability course as well as two additional marks at a 50m interval.
Sprint: Straight 300m course to achieve maximum speed.
Endurance: Closed course under 2km. There will be two, 2-hour heats, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Scoring: For each event the winning team is awarded the maximum points and each team will receive points based upon the winnings team's time. Points will be awarded for excellence in the technical report, visual presentation, and workmanship.
